SBA Invites MegaWattage CEO to Disaster Recovery Roundtable
MegaWattage CEO David Welch was invited to participate in a Disaster Recovery Roundtable on July 26th with Broward County Office of Economic and Small Business Development (OESBD), Deputy Administrator Dilawar Syed of the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA), and other local business owners.
With a focus on the Hollywood area, the roundtable discussion highlighted the temporary Disaster Loan Outreach Center (DLOC) set up to support Broward County residents in accessing crucial recovery aid following the heavy flooding that took place in June.
Being a responsive neighbor is not just what we do, it’s who we are. Proud to have served Broward County for 18 years and we will continue to do so in our disaster relief efforts for the community we call home for 18+ more.
SBA Agency Declaration #20413
In collaboration with the South Florida District Office, Broward County, and local partners (SBDC, SCORE, Chambers), the SBA Office of Disaster Recovery and Resilience is continuing targeted outreach and engagement activities to those impacted by the June 11-14, 2024 severe storms and flooding in Broward, Miami-Dade, and adjacent counties of Collier, Hendry, Monroe, and Palm Beach. Our outreach centers offer one-on-one assistance to applicants who seek help with online login, application process, status check, and pending applications that require additional documents.
